So, let’s get real.
We ALL want more engagement right??
Well, it is one thing to have engagement, but it is a whole other thing to have engagement with ACTUAL potential clients.
I mean, how exciting right??
So, here is what I need you to do.
Have your ideal client in your mind. 💭
Imagine meeting with them over coffee, and picture the growth you’d experience together.
Then, figure out where they hangout online and notice what kind of content they engage with.
From there, you can fully understand how to keep them hooked.
Now, it’s time to follow these 5 tips in order to skyrocket your engagement and bring in more sales
1. The power of one is REAL, baby!
In the past, we’ve touched on the importance of mastering the social media platform that best suits the needs of your business.
Doing so is the quickest way to attract the audience that you want!
That’s because there’s a huge chance that they’re already actively on that platform anyway.
They’re on there doing their thing and they’re just waiting…for you!
You already offer what they want.
It’s that simple.
And, I know, it sounds crazy!
But, if you narrow your focus down to one social media platform, like Instagram, it becomes much easier to interact with your audience.
Think about it.
How are you going to give each of your ideal clients the attention that they deserve if you’re scatterbrained throughout 5 different social media apps every day?
It’d be a tough task for anybody!
So, focus on making your content on the one app engaging and interactive.
Ask questions in your captions or stories.
It’ll truly amaze you how much you will learn from your clients!
Also, having a clear voice on social media will make you stand out.
Some people decide to use a persona online to talk to their clients.
You don’t have to do this!
But, if it makes it easier for you to engage with your audience, it’s worth it to think about your options there.
It’s all about making your voice online clear, consistent, reliable, and of course, engaging.
2. Keep past clients HOT, HOT, HOT!
Let’s say you already have an array of ideal clients that are working with you.
How do you keep them interested?
Besides offering killer content in the programs they’re already enrolled in, think about offering VIP content for clients that fall under this category.
This will obviously vary depending on what your offers are and your budget.
But, there’s gotta be something special that you can give to the someones that are special, right?
The idea of exclusivity is appealing to just about anybody.
Understanding that nobody else is getting access to this content is an offer that’s hard to pass up!
So, your job is to come up with a killer idea.
I’ll throw some ideas out there for you.
Maybe, you could offer an ultra-exclusive coaching session that is only available to your VIPs.
They’d need a code to get in.
Or, they could get more one-on-one coaching sessions if they’ve spent x amount of money on your offer already.
This keeps your already loyal VIP clients even more hooked on what you’re doing.
Some people also find value in treating their VIP’s.
That’s also something that looks different for everyone.
An exclusive gift for being a part of your program for x amount of time works well here.
Or, a discount code for their next purchase on a special anniversary.
Things like that!
They want to know you care.
Once they establish that the respect and love is mutual, they’ll be more likely to engage in more programs and online.
Plus, if they were your ideal client before… they most likely know MORE people like them.
Which means if they are engaging on your posts, the algorithm will show your page to more pages like them!!
It is a win, win, win!!
3. Give value… and then give some more!
You already offer amazing programs.
We both know that!
Your clients definitely know that by now.
But, you can’t let yourself just assume that it can keep going that way forever.
You have to push yourself and figure out what you can do to go beyond that.
These days, we all have a pretty short attention span.
It’s tough to admit sometimes, but we do!
There’s so much content to consume in every which way.
It’s easier than ever before to lose focus, even if it’s on something that you once loved.
So, to keep hold of the modern attention span, you have to make sure what you’re doing won’t lose them.
Try focusing on them and their needs versus what your competition is doing.
Sure, it’s easy to want to know who’s doing what around you.
But, your clients will tell you what they want.
It’s up to you to listen to them!!
If you can, try running a survey to see exactly what that means for your ideal clients.
Then, build content upon what their specific requests for you are.
They’ll be amazed at the fact that you listened in the first place.
But, they’ll be even more amazed by this new and exciting knowledge you’re providing that they already needed.
Listening to their needs makes them more willing to browse through your other offers.
From there, they’ll be engaged for the long haul!
4. Communication is key!
How do you talk to your clients?
Is it strictly on social media?
Do you have a direct customer-service line where they voice their questions, comments or concerns?
When you’re talking to them about your offer, improving your line of communication can make all the difference in the world.
The easier it is for them to reach you, the better.
Expanding your line of communication can look like adding a chatbot to your website.
These nifty gadgets do the heavy lifting for you while you’re away.
While you want to be there for your clients 24/7, it’s just not possible!
A chatbot is only an example, though.
The point is that there are all kinds of tools out there to make the client’s experience with you and your offer smoother in general.
And, they’ll be more willing to ask more questions if you’re easily available to them.
And, if their needs are met through open communication, that’s even better!!
This, in turn, will help boost their overall engagement by making them more eager to participate in everything else that you’re doing.
It all connects!!
Never underestimate the power of effective communication.
That’s a pretty standard rule for life, but it is emphasized even more when you’re trying to boost engagement with your ideal clients.
They have to know that you want to work with them just as badly as they want to work with you.
5. Personal touches go a loooonngg way
This can be as intricate or as simple as you’d like it to be!
It can really be as easy as saying your client’s name in your mailing list each week.
However, the goal with this is to make them realize that you see them as individuals.
With your dream clients, you want to emphasize personalization as much as you can.
Taking every opportunity to make sure that every interaction is uniquely theirs can make all the difference.
It goes back to the theme of you needing to be reliable but also relatable.
If your ideal clients are often making similar purchases from your offers, leave recommendations for their next purchase.
They’ll see that you’re paying attention to their needs and use of your programs.
It’s like when you go to a restaurant.
If you’ve ever been a frequent customer at a restaurant, odds are you could have experienced the waiters remembering your order.
Maybe you can’t relate to this if you’re a spontaneous person in general.
But, you get the idea!
You have your favorite dish on their menu.
It’s your favorite because it’s always good.
But, let’s say that one day the waiter recommends something similar that they’d think you’d like.
At first, you may be hesitant.
The dish that you’ve been getting since the restaurant opened is reliable and at this point in your day, you’re probably craving it!
Buuuut…you also trust this waiter, the one who offered you the new dish to try out.
And then, it becomes your new favorite dish!
So, you order more.
The same goes for your ideal clients.
If they’re ordering the same thing off the menu all the time, try boosting engagement by offering something similar that they may be interested in.
It’s a really cool magic trick that works like a charm.
Boosting your engagement with your ideal clients narrows down to having a clear understanding of who they are and what they need.
That almost goes without saying, right?
Sometimes, though, you have to go the extra mile… give a little push.
Client engagement is a lot different now than it was 5 years ago.
There are so many new factors that contribute to what keeps people interested these days.
It’s tough to keep up with.
As we mentioned, keeping the modern attention span hooked for prolonged periods of time is a HUGE task!
But, I think you can do it.
You know your audience better than anybody, right?
So, keep. Them. Engaged!
You got this.💯
