So, you want to make more than $100k per year?
Cool, I can help with that! For the last couple of years, I have pulled in over $100k in my own business and have helped dozens of other female entrepreneurs scale to $100k+.
So what are we all doing to hit those numbers?
This blog post is going to walk you through exactly what multi-six figures entrepreneurs do to scale to $100,000.00 (and beyond, trust me!).
Ready to dive in? Let’s go!!
THEY MASTER THEIR MINDSET.
“Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.”
― Steve Maraboli
Let me tell you something you may not know about me:
I used to complain. A lot.
Many people are surprised to hear that because they see me as a very positive person and that’s true; I am positive — now!
Back in the day, I would fill gaps in conversation with complaints. Just endless negativity, most of the time without me even REALIZING I was complaining so much.
And, surprise surprise, I was broke AF, barely paying my bills.
It was a horrible habit and it was very hard to break.
It wasn’t until I decided to become successful that I realized I would have to trade my negative thinking for positive thinking.
If you don’t master your mindset, your path to success will be long, frustrating and painful.
Learning the art of thinking abundantly is like growing a muscle; it takes time and repetition.

THEY MASTER THEIR SYSTEMS.
“Visions without systems thinking ends up painting lovely pictures of the future with no deep understanding of the forces that must be mastered to move from here to there.”
― Peter M. Senge
In my experience, one of the biggest things that separates new entrepreneurs from experience entrepreneurs is that new entrepreneurs completely lack the systems to quickly grow and scale their business.
If you want to scale to 6-figures (and beyond!), you need systems.
Systems to consistently get clients.
Systems to deliver your product to the client.
Systems to manage your leads.
Systems to scale.
It is impossible to give specific advice because each business needs custom systems, however, I will say this:
The faster you systemize what is working in your business (and get rid of the things that aren’t), the faster you will grow. It’s that simple.
Start paying attention to what you are doing and start building systems. I have some resources below to get you started.

THEY MASTER THEIR TIME.
“He who every morning plans the transactions of that day and follows that plan carries a thread that will guide him through the labyrinth of the most busy life.”
– Victor Hugo
Nothing blows my mind more than the fact that we all have the same 24 hours in a day.
Dude, think about.
Oprah, you and I all have the same freaking hours.
It’s an even playing field.
Time, in my opinion, even more valuable than money.
It’s the most valuable resource and I spend quite a bit of money freeing up my time to focus on the things that are going to make me the most money. (more on that later.)
Where do you start when it comes to mastering your time?
You start with the absolute time-wasters:
arguing on the Internet
getting sucked down the “business research” rabbit-hole
stuff that doesn’t need to get done in your business
Instead of those time-wasters, focus your time on income-generating activities — the things in your business that are directly tied to you making money.
Further resources I recommend to help you master your time:
The Clockify app — start tracking your time and see where it really is going. That will open your eyes.
I am literally going to repeat the Clockify app. I am putting it in there twice because you likely skimmed over it the first time but let me repeat: USING THE CLOCKIFY APP DOUBLED MY INCOME SO GO USE IT AND DOUBLE YOURS.
Books I recommend to help you master your time:
THEY MASTER THEIR AUTOMATIONS.
“Never automate something that can be eliminated, and never delegate something that can be automated or streamlined. Otherwise, you waste someone else’s time instead of your own, which now wastes your hard-earned cash. How’s that for incentive to be effective and efficient?”
― Timothy Ferriss
So far, we have eliminated all the things that are wasting our time and in the next section we will talk about delegation.
What does that leave us?
It’s become a bit of a buzzword in our community but, when done correctly, will free you up to spend your time making money & doing the work you actually want to be doing.
First of all, what does it mean to “automate”?
To me, automation is the process of working harder (at first) so that you can work smarter (later).
Here’s an example:
Back in the day, before I mastered my automations, whenever a client booked a call, I would manually send them a follow-up email the next day.
Now, thanks to my automation?
It automatically emails them thanking them for their time and asking them if they have any questions.
It’s one less thing I have to worry about and it’s better customer service.
Tools I recommend to help you master your time:
Pipedrive — helps you track your leads and allows you to automatically follow-up so people don’t fall through the cracks. <— Aka, more $$$!
Zapier — the king of automations. This one resource will allow you to master many different areas of your business that need to be automated.
Zoom — did you know there’s quite a number of things you can automate in Zoom? Look into it, there are some super useful things!
THEY MASTER THEIR DELEGATIONS.
“As all entrepreneurs know, you live and die by your ability to prioritize. You must focus on the most important, mission-critical tasks each day and night, and then share, delegate, delay, or skip the rest.”
― Jessica Jackley
Don’t rule this out because you “can’t afford help”.
Let me tell you, most of you will read this and skip over it.
You will tell yourself, “Well, that’s easy for her to say, I am not making $100k so I CAN’T delegate.”
You are putting the cart before horse.
You need to start delegating SO THAT you can hit your first $100k year.
When delegating, start small. Use the extra time to do income-generating activities.
Your first hire? I recommend a VA at a flat monthly rate. Start delegating the small things in your business that are taking up a lot of your time.
approving FB group requests
SO much more!
You cannot do everything yourself. You need to start delegating immediately, if you are going to scale.

(As you can see, a lot of these books are on this list more than once. It’s because they are valuable reads.)
NOW, LET ME ASK YOU? YOU’VE GOT BIG PLANS FOR 2020, RIGHT?
I knew it!!
Maybe you want to have your first $100k year?
I know it will help you!
